I am re-using a good crank, can I pm you the pics and maybe you can let me know which bearings to order by the serial numbers on the bearings. I have researched but can't find the right bearings.
heres the story, guy was passing thru town and he started to hear the engine knocking. so then he pulls in to Kia dealership and trades it in for newer car. owner for dealership takes it to Mechanic I use, not sure why his mechanics couldn't figure it out. but I happen to have my prelude in his...
Thanks for all the help, took the wheel off was the ebrake. Did not have a rubber mallet was careful with the hammer and was able the get the ebrake free, took her for a spin sounds a little rusty from sitting forever but she is running now.
They were all locked at first was only able to get three to break free, will take it apart see if it's the ebrake, yeah parked outside with no cover and we've had lots of rain. Need to start getting in the habit of parking it in gear instead of ebrake.
Car has been parked for several months, started her up finally and now rear passenger wheel is locked. Had it in the air and can hear a it try to engage but acts like the ebrake is on, but isn't since the other three wheels spin.
Thanks HolyCrapItsFast. I will hold out for the wiseco, these engines aren't cheap do it right the the first time. She's been down all summer and just anxious to get her back on the road.
What about the VF series twin scrolls 36, 37, 38 and 42. Been doing some more reading and think it was @Batmobile that had mentioned in another post about the twin scroll.
Seeing that I'll be buying a turbo, should I go with a td05 get series or a vf39 or 48. The td05 are cheaper but would it be better than the stock turbo. Not looking at anything big don't see myself going with more horse power maybe 400hp tops.
Any one have a VF39 or a VF48 for trade I do have some very nice vintage watches Tudor big rose black dial I wear this one the most as you can see the scratches she might be a couple of minutes fast but overall runs great
Yeah momma already mad she spent $300 for parts for my prelude don't come in till Monday, her piercing eyes better not ask for more money right now looks like some of my watches are going on ebay.
