Round 2: My 2015 Galaxy Blue Journal

Yeah my Dad's Pinto was moving pretty good (and consistent) yesterday with runs of 9.67 9.68 and 9.70. Not bad for a 90* day in a stick shift small block alcohol Ford.

    Best rotors and pads brands

I imagine rotors and pads are fairly universal in terms of being good or not regardless of the car. While that is a very general statement, unlike some other systems, it seems as though most all cars run a very similar braking system. I ended up talking with Jordan and taking his...

Had some fun with the family at the local 1/4 mile track today.

    How effective is car wrap?

I don't think most vehicles are wrapped to preserve the body (you see clear applications on the front of the car and ceramic coatings for that). There are definitely different quality levels to wrap. From what I understand it falls under "you get what you pay for". Cheaper products will be...

The Best Cars In Respective Price Ranges

I think my go-kart as a kid only had 5-10hp so 12whp is pretty good since the curb weight was probably about the same

Round 2: My 2015 Galaxy Blue Journal

I'll look into this. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube so if it isn't covered in them I won't worry about it a little old fluid.

Round 2: My 2015 Galaxy Blue Journal

    1) I've never actually used caliper spreaders, but probably should have. It makes life a lot easier than trying to pry with something like a screwdriver, while not scratching the pistons or tearing any boots. I'll talk with my Dad on this one, not sure if he has some or has a trick he uses...

The Best Cars In Respective Price Ranges

In the same 5-10k range I would throw in the 04-06 Mini Cooper S. The supercharged versions were fun little city, twisty road cars. Some inexpensive parts (supercharger pulley kit, lowering springs, sticky tires) made the car a blast to drive hard. One of those cars that is the definition of...

The Best Cars In Respective Price Ranges

Between $5-10k I would have to say a 99-04 Mustang GT. I had a 2000 that was very reliable, fun to drive, amazing exhaust note with my high flow SLP catted X paired with Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers. No others around running something like that as the conventional wisdom was to only run X...

Round 2: My 2015 Galaxy Blue Journal

Continuing to help keep Jordan's business going... Bought slotted rotors, street pads, SS lines, fluid, and the SMY dual gauge pod cluster surround yesterday. I've helped my Dad do brake pads on drum and disc brakes before, but never had to do any brake work on my own car so this will be a...

    Introduction

Make a build thread in this forum: https://www.igotasti.com/vBforum/forums/23-Member-s-Journal I would personally go catted. Really no loss in performance, so other than costing a couple hundred more for the catted DP it's a no brainer for me. Some emissions stuff is a bit silly to me (things...

    Best rotors and pads brands

Does anyone have anything to add to this topic? I'm thinking my next work on the 15 is going to be rotors, pads, lines, and fluid. Being honest I don't see a lot of track time for me anytime soon but I like the look of slotted rotors. I don't care if pads are dusty but I prefer them to be...

Mine does not have the stumble, I do believe that was reserved for the lucky owners of the previous gen. We do still have the power dip in the factory tune though.

Welcome! I would suggest you post a full ad with plenty of pictures in the For Sale section. You will likely have better luck on other sites that get a lot of classifieds traffic. This forum is more about quality information and a tight community. Not saying someone won't buy it from here...
