How To: VA DIY Roof Vent For Cheap

Well it'd probably be easier the second time, especially since I won't be trying to use that damned underpowered compressor I picked up from Harbor Freight (2 hp, 5 gal) that allowed me to scrape all of a few inches before it had to cycle air in again. Electric angle grinder worked pretty well...

How To: VA DIY Roof Vent For Cheap

12: Get out your sealing material (caulk, JB Weld, etc…) and put a ~1/4 diameter bead around the edge of the vent and around each hole to ensure water tightness. Put the vent up in place from the inside of the car and have your helper hold it up tight to the roof. 13: Insert rivets though the...

Kill it with fire: Ricers, Hoopties and Hunks of Shit.

The company replaced it as soon as two of the pieces came back in stock. UPS was working on the claim, actually just got called by them.

Kill it with fire: Ricers, Hoopties and Hunks of Shit.

That's what really happened to my package last month. (No, not really, dumbass driver dropped it off at some completely different address, not entirely sure where)

I thought that thread on Dirty Impreza covered it pretty well, but I'll try to remember to snap pics during the process even though you should know by now how bad I am about that. I'm more leaning towards the two Stiffis option, but I may do all 5 so I don't have 3 laying around and...

GD Bianca ('06 STi), A New Start

Not too much progress this weekend, since I was feeling a little under-the-weather and lazy. So all I did today was install my mudflaps and do a little project I’d been thinking of for a while. Here’s the first project and the mudflaps, I replaced all the push pins in the front fender liners...

I recall seeing one like that on eBay, think they had a set up for the years with the slide out cup-holder up there and without.

    Easy Oil Pickup Install

Thanks for directing me to this, Grinder, I'll be using it to install the full Killer B setup (pan, baffle and pickup), just have to decide if I want to do the engine mounts before or after (maybe at the same time?).

That doesn't seem too bad at all, think I thought the same when I looked through the Killer B instructions too. Maybe I'll have to just ask one of the guys here if I can use their larger garage (Mines a 1 car :() and use their assistance in the parts when a second set of hands are essentially...

GD Bianca ('06 STi), A New Start

I've heard the exact opposite actually, one of my buddies here says that and engine mounts (both with engine in the car) are 2 of the things he will not assist anyone with again because it was such a PITA, maybe my mileage will vary on this though. But is the '07 this upgraded? Lol...

GD Bianca ('06 STi), A New Start

Yeah, it was a pretty good stack to see. I was pretty happy, but I'll be even happier when most of it is installed and not in that room, made a decent bit of a dent already, but I'm not relishing installing the oil pan and engine mounts, or that brake master cylinder brace either for that...

So, I have arrived back home. Got back on Wednesday but due to restrictions imposed by command I was not allowed to drive my car for 48 hours; essentially equated to not driving until Saturday when I got my Texas Safety Inspection and made the car fully legal. Picked up the new license plates on...

They have them selling for ~$35 HERE (normally ~$50), so I guess make me an offer if you're interested, it may fit in a flat-rate box (dimensions are ~5" W, 10.25" L, 5" T).
