    Always good to check. Its a little deceiving because theres a sticker on the shrink wrap around the parts kit that says "non returnable if this plastic is opened". So I didn't want to open it to look through the instruction manual.

    Got ahold of the company we got the kit from, they say its the proper one for sure. its just that the page of the instruction manual facing out just happens to be for that year, and my year will be in the manual, you just have to open it up.

    So I got the gates timing belt kit for my bday today! I took the timing kit out of the box and notices the part number on the instructions was different than the part number on the box... the part number on the box is tckp328rb, which is the correct number for my car with the racing belt. But...

    Thanks for the input! Im quickly approaching my 90k service, and if I get the gates timing kit for xmas i'll probably do the timing and service a bit before 90k miles.

    Thanks for the replies! You guys just confirmed what I was thinking, and hoping. Just wanted to make sure! I usually wait at least 7-10 minutes before driving, but sometimes I sleep in a little too much and have to get out in a little more of a hurry.
