is 17 psi of boost to much at redline for a stage 2 plus ewg cai sti if you have the proper fueling? and is 10.5 too rich? it is pretty much a track car and runs a mix of about 50/50 93 and 100 octane gas. but tuned on 93. thanks and sorry if this is in the wrong place
I understand it now. thanks guys. if you don't mind, for a track vehichle that is driven to and from the track, what water coolant ratio would you run. I have an 06 sti stage 2 plus ewg and cai intake. I've been thinking 10 or 20 percent coolant with water wetter
its not boiling. I was just thinking that since water or coolant can't really hold more heat once it boils, why is it bad if the coolant boils as long as you still have flow. and its not pure vapor
ok. now i'm getting pretty off topic but if you want to talk about sealing the underbody and making downforce you got to look at these . they make massive amounts of downforce at 0 mph
ah yes, I forgot to mention sideskirts. because you have a higher pressuer area outside the undercarriage and lower under the car the air wants to leak in. this reduces the downforce. a low sideskirt will let less air in. also if you can make a vortex as the air leaks in this will help reduce...
over the past month I have gotten very into race applicable aerodynamics. with out a full flat bottom car you will have virtually no effect from adding a diffuser. also a diffuser in itself doesn't add downforce. it acts to slowly allow the air to expand thusly letting it not separate and...
