Zack's '12 OBP STi Hatch, Da Money Pit

I'm sure as well since we only lengthened the fuel line between the damper and the fuel tank, not between FPR and the damper. Good this is exactly what we want.

How does the car run with the relocated fuel damper?

    FFS 9 psi?

Sorry for showing up late. Looks like HolyCrapItsFast had it covered. Yeah I would also be suspicious of carbon buildup. The good news is that because you have a WBO2 sensor, we can take a look at your MAFv and IAT comps. The bad news is that you are running pig rich. Cobb loves to run high...

Why you should consider HPDE over AutoX

It is somewhat applicable to Auto-x. However serious damage at 40mph in the middle of a parking lot is unlikely. I'm not saying it can't happen! If you lose control of a car at 100+mph it is unlikely that serious damage will not occur. Insurance will not cover this damage unless you have opted...

Why you should consider HPDE over AutoX

Honestly I don't recall because I was 18 and it was a birthday + Christmas + graduation gift from family and friends. I think it was around $1000 but was over a decade ago. The same course now is around $4-5k!! If you take your car to a track, be prepared to leave it there.

Why you should consider HPDE over AutoX

I've done HPDE and LOVED it! Never touched 130mph though... The course I took was 2.5 days and we drove Miatas :)

    FFS 9 psi?

However, at this point, if you have a mechanical problem a pro-tune will not resolve the issue. I would first check the engine for rattles. This might be a good time for you to invest in a WBO2 sensor. With the WBO2, we can really look at the tip-in and make adjustments. Interestingly I've...

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo XI Will Be Launching A New Model By 2016

Well look who it is! Good to see you here Jason :) Take everything with a grain of salt. The rumor mill is churning hard and a lot of rumors suggest that this will be a 2-door GT car.

    FFS 9 psi?

In the future, it is a good idea to log only the parameters necessary to diagnose the issue. Logging excess parameters only serves to cut down logging resolution. /PSA Took a look at your logs. The second log is only cruise, so not a very useful log in my book if only to look at the LTFTs and...

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo XI Will Be Launching A New Model By 2016

The company roadmap showed this car as being a replacement for the 3000GT, not the Evo. As such, the car and amenities would be geared more towards a grand-touring car than a road-racer.

To be honest, I would suggest waiting a few years. Hopefully Subaru will shoehorn the FA20 into the STi by 2017. Having driven the WRX and STi back-to-back, I will openly tell you that the FA20 is the motor to have. Smoother, responds better to mods, more economical, etc. The STi is missing...

New member; not new to Subarus

Why yes I have! I have driven the following STis: 2x 2004, 2x2005, 2x2007, 2008, 2x2011 (hatch and wagon), and a 2012. For the record, I have also driven a few Evo Xs, Lancer Ralliart, and an Evo IX. When I picked up my STi, I had the pleasure of driving a new 2015 WRX back-to-back with the STi...

    FFS 9 psi?

As others have mentioned... 9 PSI is close to waste-gate pressure. I'd be concerned that your IAM (DAM) is under 0.5 and the ECU is pulling boost.

    HELP! Grinding gears....WTF?

FWIW, I'm not sure how the power output has anything to do with Synchro wear unless you are really banging gears. Years ago my bugeye developed a nasty 4th-5th grind during every shift. I was using Redline 75w-90 gear oil at the time (nasty stuff; don't recommend it). Now, I don't fully...
