I've got a pretty good assortment of tools but if there's anything out of the ordinary we may need let me know and I'll pick it up. As far as garage, it's tight but I can move the kids crap out so we have more room plus we'll be under the car anyways...I'm gonna invest in some better jack...
I went with IAGs EL header/uppipe with EWG setup, it's basically the same as the GT Spec V2. Really wanted the Killer B Holy Header but just couldn't justify the cost in the end...but if you have the funds there are some very good benefits to their setup.
I'd prefer to keep them intact for now for someone that needs them to go back stock but if they don't sell I'll get back to you and we'll work something out...sound good?
Yeah I stayed away from the wrap due to fire concerns (I told you guys I'm a paranoid dude) but I should have ceramic coated the stuff before I had it put on...such is life though, I baby the car 95% of the time so I doubt I'll have too much work of an issue.
To be honest I haven't thought a little whole lot about it, I'm still not sold I'll go that route unless the engine goes and I have to build it. I definitely don't want a monster that will lag and kill the low end...plus I wouldn't want any more than 400 WHP anyways.
Already have the SS with bushings, that was my favorite mod of my whole build...love how notchy the shifting is now and the fact that 4th to 5th isn't a country mile anymore... ;)
Oh and Grinder, I'm still waiting to hear back from you on when you want to come up and help me do the oil...
I considered doing the TGV deletes with the spacers this time but they were very labor intensive so I held back on them...but I definitely get where you're coming from. I definitely wouldn't be comfortable doing them myself, not without someone who's done it before with me. So much stuff to...
I have the stock headers and uppipe with all heat shields attached, they only had 18.5k miles on them so they are in good shape. Shipping will be high so I prefer a local deal (I'm in MD) but I can ship at the buyers expense. Looking for 100 OBO before shipping but I'm willing to work with you...
So I'm planning my next round of mods which includes suspension work (sways, endlinks, bushings etc) and a Killer B oil pickup but I also may be able to get a good deal on an ETS TMIC, do you all think it would be beneficial to do the I/C now? I definitely have plans for a bigger turbo down the...
Oh yeah, HUGE difference. It pulls like CRAZY now and the throttle response is amazing....just have to be careful about when I open it up with the EWG...it draws just a LITTLE bit of attention. ;)
I can always plumb it back into the downpipe if it causes me any issues but I think I'll be...
Sorry I don't have more pics or video...I won't lie I didn't care for the tuning process, I found it stressful. I'm kind of a nervous/worrier type person and all I could think of is "Oh God, he's going to blow up my car"...lol. But I did wash my car today and I am going to do some detailing...
Dyno Jet is correct, very very happy with the numbers. I've attached a better scan of the dyno slip. Man the car is so much fun to drive but the EWG is so loud I definitely have to pick and choose when to have fun now... ;) Other than that it's totally awesome, couldn't be happier!
They were super busy today so I didn't get time to take any car pics but here are a couple shots of the shop itself:
I should have plenty of time to take pics on Saturday for the tune...they literally started working on my car as soon as I got there so they can finish everything up since...
