Shifter felt great with the extra height but it looked like crap so I didn't even take it for a spin. Emailed WC Lathe Werks for a picture of theirs on an STI. Theirs appears to be cut so that it slips over the reverse lockout lever like a shift knob would... rather than leaving an ugly gap and...
Will do. I hope it works out. My shifter is a 35% mechanically shorter throw than stock. It's also 1.5" shorter. The extender is 3". So my throw will be 35% shorter than stock + whatever distance the additional 1.5" in length compared to stock adds. It should still be significantly shorter than...
The modding has restarted!
Always hated my shifters height and the force required to enter a gear. Shifter extenders look like ass... but with my HPS+ pads squealing like crazy at every stop by design... My car is now 100% function over form.
After researching $50-$80 ones the one I liked...
True story... I wanted BAD ASS because it was available and is such a doucey plate.... They denied it so I thought about it and made it even better by changing 3 letters: BAD STI. Even better that STI's are now what they're calling STD's. "Sexulally Transmitted Infections"
Will do!
This is one of my pride and joys. I did all the work myself except for sending the receiver/barrel and dust cover off to get CeraKoted. I'll be sending the tax stamp paperwork to chop down to 14" sometime this year.
Just picked up an M92 PAP (AK pistol) for $460 new. It was too good to pass up. I'm modding it out as we speak :D. The finish is so rough and I want to do some rounding/ grinding on a couple places so It'll probably end up with a new paint job too!
Yup that's what I've heard of them as too (from old people like our dads lol). It's decently dry here in the summer.
I'm still leaning towards knocking a hole in my garage wall and installing a large window unit lol.
No! It is an out door airconditioner.
It's an evaporative cooler. I want one for my garage and backyard someday!

I vote 20GXT. The XTR has a smaller compressor the last I remembered and doesn't have as much on the top end. It's the sweet spot in my book. I want ~440whp on a dyno that does ~225-230whp stock. It's been years since I spent months researching. All of those turbos were out when I did my build...
LOL Fuck them and their $200 a year plates lol. I do love it here except for the weather. If any disaster happens here in the summer I'm putting a .45 through my skull within a week of not having AC. Some day when I have land and money I'm buying 100 of these for $250,000 and airconditioning an...
It runs better than it ever has. I kept getting out of my car happy from driving it again, walking past it, and feeling sad not seeing the familiar BAD STI plate. I gave in and spent $195 for the first year. But its so much better than before. Its almost symbolic of my STI's return to the world...
