    Fuel Set up

I'm using an A1000-6. I am also using a Tomei FPR adapter and any fittings are adapted to a 5/16" barb to accommodate the use of standard 5/16" fuel line just like stock. I haven't yet but I also plan on getting the same FueLab filter and fiberglass element being that I'm running E85 and don't...

Oh and I only run E85 so my fuel demand is higher.

    Fuel Set up

Well FWIW I am running a rotated Borg Warner S256 which is between a 30R and 35R in size and my fuel setup is Five-O Black Ops 1400cc injectors, a Walbro 460 fuel pump, and an Aeromotive FPR. Everything else is stock. And the FPR was just because I got a good deal on it. I'm still in the process...

    Fuel Set up

Also need to mention that was Dominic Acia formerly of Maxwell Power, then Turn In Concepts, and now the new Tier 1. Maxwell Power wouldn't even sell a parallel setup. Their custom fuel rail package was designed and sold in series.

Pressure differential is moot and frankly I'm surprised anyone thinks it exists. Here's why: 1. From the first injector to the last, the amount of fuel being used is less and less in steps. So from the beginning, you have less flow which lowers any potential for pressure drop. The largest...

    Misfires / no thermostat

When you bought the car was it already built and/or have that turbo installed? The Borg Warner S series turbos are oil cooled only (I have an S256 :)). They could have jacked up your coolant system when rerouting to not include the turbo coolant lines which could cause additional air bubbles or...

Just performed the poor man's fix for the lower heater core hose. Bent the hard pipe up away from the bracket and trimmed the hose where the hole was and had enough slack to fix it back onto the connection.

I feel like I got gypped on the clamp I got with my car. This one is MUCH beefier. All better! But I also noticed my transmission mount bracket rubbed a hole in my lower heater core hose so now that needs to get replaced. -_______- Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is what came out after one coolant flush, two water flushes, one coolant system flusher plus water, and one final water rinse after the coolant system flush. Pretty nasty. I'm guessing there's still stuff in there. I'll just do another coolant flush in the not too distant future. Also...

Thanks Ted! When I originally purchased the VSSPro from Spiider (DCCDPro, whatever you call them) it was the only one that I was aware of. I had heard of MapDCCD's DCCD controller before but heard nothing about their VSS unit. Unfortunately after I purchase my VSSPro used/refurbished, I found a...

Are you guys an AEM dealer? Once I'm done with school and not broke in a couple months I think I'd like to get the rest of the AEM analog gauge line to match my boost gauge.

Flex Fueling a stock 2017 STI?

Yeah it is only for the 16-bit. That's probably why COBB hired the developer. ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh yeah I'm your first experience with it, aren't I? I'm hoping to explore FlexFuel with it in the not too distant future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Flex Fueling a stock 2017 STI?

Or if you don't want to get a standalone ECU, and especially if you already have an Accessport, you could get this: http://www.cobbtuning.com/products/fuel-system/subaru-flex-fuel-ethanol-sensor-kit-sti-2008-2017-wrx-2008-2014 COBB supports FlexFuel on newer model Subarus via Accessport now...

Flex Fueling a stock 2017 STI?

Your ideas are clashing a bit. FlexFuel means you install an ethanol sensor in your fuel line and have it tuned from 0-90ish% ethanol and your car will automatically compensate and change its tune based on the ethanol content it reads. Having separate maps for 93oct and E85 is just that, tuning...
