Whelp, just ordered a MapDCCD VSS module. Should be here in a couple weeks and all codes should be gone and car should be back to 100%. Well once tuning is finished.
Yeah that video is of Quik-Latch ones. I really like that style. Lol I used to use those Dunlop strap locks on a lot of the basses I had when I used to play. I would rather just get the Quik-Latch ones instead of ghetto rig the Dunlops.
I'm going to verify all my connections one last time but it appears the real issue is the VSSPro. There have been numerous accounts of the unit messing with and in some cases completely disabling the ABS system. Probably going to have to bite the bullet, scrape up $190 from somewhere, and order...
Performed some datalogs for HolyCrapItsFast last night and as expected the ABS light popped back on. I checked the codes this morning and I only had 22 and 24 this time, so just the two front ABS sensors. My VSS module is tapped into the passenger side front sensor so now I have to figure out if...
Read my ABS codes and they were:
22 - Front Right ABS Sensor
24 - Front Left ABS Sensor
56 - Abnormal G Sensor Output Voltage
I reset the codes, started the car, and they didn't turn back on. But I just idled in my driveway for a few minutes. They may pop back on when I take it for a spin...
Yeah I've been looking at the Quik-Latch ones but $24 for one latch when I need four is pretty brutal. Not that I want to cheap out because I am one to pay more to buy something once but $100 to keep my bumper attached will take some self convincing haha.

Anyone have quick latch suggestions? The side clips for my front bumper aren't working for shit and I would rather it not pop off and me drive over it on the highway.

Unless you rebuild them on the regular it would probably be best bang for you buck to sell it as is. Like Grinder said, people have different brand and/or spec preferences/needs so by rebuilding you're only narrowing your potential market. Plus it would be tough to make money back after having...
Did some poking around and I think the cam sensor codes have to do with the Carberry rom being based off the old GroupN rom for AVCS cars, which I don't have, so I think they just need to be turned off. Especially being that I only have one cam sensor, not two like the JDM STI engines haha...
I would normally be more concerned but being that George and I are using the Carberry rom and it's uncharted territory for either of us I'm still not sure what to expect all the time.

Well actually I reset the ECU via RomRaider after reflashing.with Rev1 from HolyCrapItsFast. That should have cleared any codes, correct?

Raven32 I think that's exactly what happened. I have the JDM V7 seats which don't have airbags and the previous owner just electrical taped (poorly) the proper resistors into the plug. I think last time I was under there and unintentionally fiddled with them the connection corrected itself. It...
Technically the engine has 30k miles on it already aside from the turbo kit upgrade and the timing kit that is all fresh now. But I am cool with closed loop tweaking taking as long as possible. Reliability is my #1 concern until I finish school and can afford a backup car and can rebuild the...
