nope it wont pass emissions... it will also stink and noone will want to ride with you. pretty much anything you do to your car will make it fail the emissions test in socal only way around it is to put everything back to stock every couple years to pass then smog check.
incase anyone runs into a problem like this in the future... check your plug before you start taking parts off your car and ordering new sensors =(. it ended up being a kinked wire the new plug fixed the problem no more wonky AFRs or leaning out.
i just leave all the pulley bolts a little loose then when all the marks are aligned i tighten everything up. iv never had to "stretch" the timing belt to fit over any cam or pulley
im 95 percent sure its the plug im allergic to stealerships so im going to exhaust all my options before i take it. im going to order this and see how it goes http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/product_info.php/products_id/2207
sup guys
anyone know what could be causing extremely high AFRs when the maf is plugged in?
things i have tried
fuel pressure is around 30-40 on the gauge.
multiple tunes
new front o2
new rear o2
new maf
i also used my friends crank position sensor. nothing worked the problem stayed the same...
sup bros just a heads up http://gmoc.com/Home they are going to be selling e85 for 85 cents a gallon im going to go fill up a couple barrels and hope they dont explode on the way back to the desert. :tard:
i dont know anything about tuning besides logging is the map being a SD map a bad thing? i think i might just go back to my old etuner he was great i just wanted to try out a different tuner.
well im not sure what SD means but if i select it everything works perfectly zero errors even my innovative AFR gauge works perfectly without having to tinker in the options

is it possible for an etuner to lock his maps so they dont work with accesstuner? i tried my old map from a different etuner and it works fine.. then i tried it again with the new map and i got the same error.
Hello
i was trying to log for an E tune and ran into a little problem i cant seem to get Accesstuner Race to work with the latest accessport firmware. when i click connect to ECU i just get an error. has anyone tried using Accesstuner Race with the latest accessport firmware update from cobb...
if you blow your engine you can bet that subaru is going to do everything they can to not pay they will dissect your ecu and find out if you have been using tuners. if you want to play your going to have to pay thats just the way it is.
hope i dont get murdered for saying this but you can get stainless steel multi layer gaskets off ebay for a third of the price of namebrand ones i have been using them on my car and others for ever they perform exactly the same. also i have never replaced the donut gasket and its never leaked.
sup bros
anyone know of any tuners up here in the high desert? hesperia/victorville etc. finally got my jelopy up and running and its gonna need a new tune :tard:
i have used everything from the cheap 25 dollar gallons at walmart to the boutique oils that sell for 15 dollars a quart. unless someone can post actual proof that one oil is better then the other just use what ever you want.
head gasket problems are the best! what you described is exactly what happens when you leaking compression into your cooling system. you can order a kit off amazon that lets you test for head gasket issues just to make sure before you pull the engine out and do the work or take it to a shop and...
that looks pretty good but im done with ebay... as soon as i get my money back im heading down to san diego and getting a block from this old man. i should have done that in the first place but i was to lazy to drive all the way there.
