Always figure at least $1000 extra on a full build... At least!!! JJ.. I'm waiting on someone to take me to Plano to drop the car off.. I'm really not sure if I can let it go for $15,700 fixed.. Not sure yet:)
First... For $20,000.. Just buy my car???? But all together $20,000 is what it cost!! If you are talking 500whp on a mustang dyno go e85 and a BIG fuel system!!! Mine makes over 500whp on a dynoject dyno!!
Wow.. You have even less miles than I do on your build from PLANO!!! I've call a 1,000x on this to cobb.. Your intake is loose or a vacuum line.. I'd start zip tieing everything!!
Depends on what condition the used block is in??? If it has 50,000 miles I would put in new bearings to!! If the block needs to be boared out that's $500 and it's $400-$500 for the piston..
For sure do the 2.5 swap!! But for $3000 assuming this is labor to you can get a good built 2.5 for $3000 and drop it in yourself!! At least while the 2.5 is out put pistons in it!!
Ok the car was Still misfiring on 2 so I changed plugs and swapped #2 coil w/#4 hoping the misfire could move with the coil.. I started it this morning and it still misfired on 2.. What next?? Compression test??? Calvin said diffently not a piston..
I'm not sure if I have a 3 bar MAF sensor? I thought I should if Cobb built my car.. I'm kinda mad at myself for not knowing this.. I asked Cobb and they said I need one??Why didn't they tell me this before????
