I bought a modded 2014 STI what stage is it ?

I wouldn't touch the tune right now. That's far beyond "stage 3" and its either a) got a great tune on it, or b) has a crappy tune on it. The only thing you can do at this point by erasing the tune is go to "b" above...or possibly put a "limp" tune on it until you get to a protuner. If it...

What Phone Do You Currently Use?

I've been using an LG G8 that is in the process of dying, so in the last few days, I've been researching. I'm thinking of picking up a Pixel 3a or OnePlus N100/N200 for $150-200. I'm not a power user and I think those will do fine for me for now.

Can anyone help identify these weird rims??

Definitely stock rims, just with a new centercap. If you get a better picture of the logo, you can *try* to do a reverse image search. I tried with just cropping your image, above, and didn't have any luck. It *sorta* looks like an upside-down Motegi logo. Sorry I can't be more help.

    2021 STI Limited/No wing/Manual advice please !!

Trying to take STI-bias out of the equation... For manual: If it's a must-have, it's a must-have. Figure that out. For suspension: Mods, my man. It's probably a lot cheaper to stick with what you've got than going through a buy/sell transaction on relatively new cars. A few grand for some...

    Best all season tires

Tires are the ultimate performance consumable. Relatively speaking, the better the grip, the shorter the life--and often higher the cost! You gotta pay to play. But theres also an inverse between summer grip and winter grip. Anything with decent winter traction requires specific treadblocks...

    Best all season tires

That's a tricky question! What are your goals for the tire? Long life? Lots of traction in the dry? wet? cold? Quiet? Cheap? You're not going to be able to get all of those, so you gotta focus on one or two and maybe we can help you pick! Also, if you're in a place that gets a lot of...

Seibon carbon fiber wing with subispeed wing stabilizers

Two things: 1) Carbon is super stiff. The wing shouldn't need stabilizers as compared to stock 2) Contact Seibon to see if their wing matches the original wing profile. You can even ask them the stabilizer question directly. They should know if theirs is an exact match or not. If its not...

    2006 Sti Transmission/shifter problem

I think you're on the right track. Don't disassemble more than you have to yet. It could be something like an obstruction, piece put in backwards, etc... causing your issues.

    Welcome, Grocery Getter

Yes, the necking to 2.5" is there to connect to a factory 2.5" cat-back exhaust. But if you're doing a full 3" exhaust its an necessary restriction. It's like upgrading to a milkshake straw, but putting a regular straw section in it. I As for build/journal--make it your own. Most people put...

    Welcome, Grocery Getter

Start up a build journal, you'll likely get more responses in there! As for downpipe, make sure it's a full 3" (not Cobb) that necks down to 2.5". And if you're thinking of going EWG later you can get one that has the built in, along with an o2 port for a wideband sensor. The O2 port is easy...

    05 STI BUILD

Remind me again why you didn't want phenolic spacers at least in addition? Aluminum is an incredibly good heat conductor. So right now it'll help carry block heat into the IM, which undoes some good work from the IC. If you add even a thin phenolic spacer it should interrupt some of that heat...

*disclaimer* this is second hand knowledge, but I've passed it along willingly as it was from a guru from a while back... Wrap that coolant pipe in the last picture, the one that goes diagonally across the engine, starting under the turbo inlet. Once everything is up to temp, it just keeps...
