    Yes, detrimental/important/crucial. Lately, I've been allowing my cars' engine coolant to warm up to 100-110 degrees before driving, monitored by my ScanGauge3. Right now, the temperature is in the single digits, and it's more important than ever.

    Turbo question

    This answer probably won't help you out, now that it's been 10 days later. The FA20DIT and EJ257 are completely different layouts. That means the turbos are not the same, and they will not fit the same.

    We're going to need a lot more information. 1) Is your car bone stock, or is it modded? 2) What's the idle RPM during cold start? 3) When did this issue begin? 4) What was your idle prior to this issue? 5) How many miles on your car?

    First and foremost, welcome to IGOTASTI! You're going to love it here!! So, you reset the ECU and allow it to relearn the parameters. Then when you WOT in Sport or Sport #, you achieve peak boost. However, after some time, the peak is 10 PSI? What occurred before this issue showing up...

    @Lindsey P Eaker , I know I'm late to the party by alnost a month. If you live in Florida, then you don't need to have AWD. Why are you contemplating on an STi over any other manual car? Does budget matter?
