so I HAVE a bigger turbo, injectors, fuel pump , turbo back exhaust, intake with 73mm maf, manual boost controller, and im about to get exedy stage 2 clutch, stop tech slotted disks and pads, gasket kit, timing belt and water pump kit, cam shaft sensors, going to get my heads machined, tgvs grinded down, beatrush forged pitching stopper mount, one step colder iridium spark plugs, and all i can think of needing is access port, top mount intercooler, headers and uppipe any suggestions for what brand i should get for those last four things and if im missing anything else ? thank you

First question...why the accessport? Are you not already tuned??

I really like the ProccessWest TMIC. Good but pricey.

I really like the KillerB headers. Good but pricey. They're EL, which isnt everyone's cup-o-tea.

Up-pipe...brings me to my next question. Is your turbo rotated?

no im not tuned yet i will be though and my friend said i dont need the access port im just making sure i dont.

yea thats what i was looking at process west but then i saw the mrt check it out http://www.mrtperformance.com.au/product-detail?part_number=SUWE126WRX03&barcode=&brand=MRT&return_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mrtperformance.com.au%2Fvehicle-search-results%3Fcategory%3DEngine%26prodview%3Dphoto%26brand%3DMRT

i
havent seen those headers but i was looking into invidia or aps but if the killerb are better than i shall go with that

and im not sure ill have to ask my friend

Are all the pieces you mentioned already installed on the car?

There's a discussion around here about equal-lenght vs un-equal-length headers. Make sure you know what you're getting into. You'll lose the "boxer rumble" people rave about. But the KillerB are the only 321 SS headers.

i still need to install this exedy stage 2 clutch, stop tech slotted disks and pads, gasket kit, timing belt and water pump kit, cam shaft sensors, going to get my heads machined, tgvs grinded down, beatrush forged pitching stopper mount, one step colder iridium spark plugs, but i might get the headers and intercooler later

i have a 4 inch down pipe should i put it on ? the one i got on is a 3 inch with two cats

If I understood you, most of the power mods are already on the car. If that's the case and they are installed , just know that they (injectors, intake, etc...) REQUIRE a tune. If you've already got them installed without a tune, please, stop driving your car now. You're probably ruining your motor.

Otherwise, when you do install the mods you'll need a tune. To do that you'll EITHER need the AccessPort OR an OpenSource tune (i'm not sure if you need your own tactrix or not).

If/when you add the downpipe you'll need a tune. Then, If/when you add headers (any maybe the IC...not sure on that one) you'll need another tune. That's why many people hoard parts for their car and install them all at once--it cuts down on tuning costs.

"A friend of a friend" would sketch me out a bit. If you trust him, go for it. But for ~$400 you can get a professional to do the job for you, which is a heck of a lot cheaper than a few grand for a new motor.

Also, if you become a sponsor of the site, there's a tuning service you can utilize! <-- (the best deal ;) )

Where are you located?

well yea my friend has it right now and as soon as i get the gasket kit and water pump and timing belt kit hes gona take apart the engine and fix it and hes gona be checking it to make sure nothing else is wrong. the only reason im making upgrades is cuz my stockturbo went out and i got a bigger one so i had to get injectors fuel pump intake boost control and since all that needs a tune im just trying to get as much things as i can but of course i want it to run perfectly before i do ALL that.
and also the reason i couldnt tell i had blown head gaskets was cuz of the blown stock turbo u know id only drive it for 5min and i couldnt any more after i got the new turbo in the car would heat up and leak anti freeze out the exhaust and i havent driven it since then . i already paid for the tune but my friend told me i needed i bunch of stuff fixed before the tune

well what happened was that i hit a rock two yrs ago and messed up my oil pan and got the insurance to fix it and they did so when i got it back i never checked the coolant level which was low and i drove it hard to make sure it was good. 10 secs after driving it hard i heard something in the engine smack and 2 mins later the check engine came on and 5mins later turbo goes out. and what we know thats bad is head gaskets, cam sensors, tgv, and heads but as soon as he opens it hes gona make sure nothing else is wrong . but what do you think else could be wrong?

well sensors are bad thats for sure tgvs my friend said he had to do something to them i dont remember what it was though and well we dont actually know that the heads are bad what does it mean to have them machined cuz when they told me that it made me think that they are bad. it never leaked any oils or water. well im just hoping its nothing big

Rek correct me if I'm wrong... I'm pretty sure that I saw a write up from Fuji on and heard from some other guys that hasnt been mentioned yet is PnP the stock headers. The stock header is stronger than the after market headers which generally causes them to crack. Fuji did a DIY PnP on stock headers (ill have to find the link and post it for you).

Even stock headers crack sometimes. I feel like you have to do something stupid to get them to do that though...

But PnP is a good option! Lenny did the PNP on his collectors and went with the GS cross-pipe and I know he's happy.
