Welcome! Some of the older STIs can be had for a reasonable price at this point. And if you're handy, a base Impreza or even a WRX can be had for peanuts, and then you can upgrade it to the way you want it anyways.

At least the subaru are becoming more affordable to purchase now so you do have some options ranging from the late 90's to early 2000's
