AOS Install: Keep the PCV or ditch it?

I am thinking of installing my new/used AOS sometime soon, and I'm unclear about the PCV situation.

It appears that Crawford has the PCV system capped, while the IXIZ has you leave it mostly in place. My concern is that the Crawford one was designed for track applications, although many run it on DD cars.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on a proper AOS install.

Thanks guys!

Tell you tuner I want to slap him up side the head

As long as you can get rid of the pressure build up in the crank case it would be okay to get rid of it but I wouldn't cap it. Remove it and then place a hose there instead and route it into the AOS along with the other lines. The PCV removes pressure more efficiently than just venting it through to the intake because it is vacuum assisted, so on a built motor I would not get rid of it. Crank Case Ventilation is an extremely important thing to concern yourself with in a daily driver car. Especially if it has a motor built to non-stock tolerances. Built motors have more blow-by by default because of the larger ring gaps and higher propensity to create positive crank case pressures. The risk is blowing the blow-by past the rings instead of out to the intake.

Not a built motor, it's virtually stock.

Im also rather un-informed on all this stuff: i learn as I go. Since I havent done any PCV/CCVent stuff, i really cant visualize the whole system. I was getting some blow-by and decided an AOS was next. I got Fuji's IXIZ, and, well there are SO MANY ways to install these suckers, I thought I'd ask.

Btw my tuner is Mark!
