Yes that's the same code.
HolyCrapItsFast couldn't you bump up his max wgdc limit in the range that he overboosted? As long as his wgdc isn't close to the max?
I know some tuners will use the max wgdc table as a backup to overboost and set them sensitive.
No not necessarily, it depends on the gear and load of the car. Really neither should spike too much as long as the interpolation is smooth in your target boost map, which I'm sure they are.
The difference between 80% and wot is probably no more than 2-3 psi. Was it cold when this happened?
The ecu targets different levels based on throttle position. So if you were relatively low load in 5th and went wot it would target probably your max boost. Then your wastegate had to work a lot harder to control the spike in boost with the oncoming load which caused you to overboost.
If you...
I'm running the act hdss on an act lightweight flywheel. Honestly the clutch feel hardly changed from stock, besides the position of engagement. Even though it's a heavy duty, it still feels like stock. Barely any more effort is needed to engage the clutch.
The lightweight flywheel is ok...
The motor mounts and tranny mount are pretty easy to replace while everything is still in the car. Just gotta jack up the motor like an inch. After replacing all of them I could definitely tell a difference in how fast the power gets to the ground. Not mushy anymore.
Yea, I had to upgrade both my motor mounts and pitch stop to group n because once the clutch started to grab, the engine would start to oscillate. I'll try and find the video I have of mine. Shit was crazy.
Tighten up your pitch-stop, especially where it connect to the firewall and see if that shuts it up. I had a very similar noise right after I replaced my clutch to the ACT HDSS. Are you still on the stock motor mounts and pitch stop?
With that low amount of miles I'll retract my statement. That is a good deal. And if people didn't take you seriously as a tuner because you weren't driving an STi, well I hope they are plagued with the ringland of death. And that shouldn't be wished on no one.
