    Boost

Yes it is a load based device before anything so that is the one thing that effects boost the most. You can control how the boost responds with a variety of different tables available. You are correct that Cobb has per-gear tables but that wasn't always the case. Most tuners don't spend the time...

    The Batmobile_Engage Member Journal

Yeah.... I would do FlexSeal before letting me car dreams fall short. I mean who needs a damn roof over their head anyway. Have you considered doing it yourself? I mean how hard could it be after all. :tard:

    THE E85 HEADACHE

After you replace the fuel pump, the rest of the setup should support ethanol of any content quite sufficiently. I often recommend the Aeromotive 340 fuel pump with ethanol setups and have seen no issues. Since you have the flex fuel kit, provided you have a proper tune, you shouldn't need to...

Misfire on 1,2 and 3 now 2,3 and 4... help needed!

I could whip you up a quick map but I need some info first. You say this is a 2.0 ltr STi. I assume this is a JDM or is it a swap? I also assume this using open source for the tuning solution?

    5x100 to 5x114.3 conversion

I was all prepared to do this on my 04 STi before I sold the car. I spent about $1000 on all the parts I needed except coilovers. To do a proper swap you need the following... Rear hub and bearings - this can be purchased as one assembly. The existing rear knuckles are good Front knuckle, hub...

    Startup smoke

With out knowing the specs I can't really recommend a proper weight oil. If it is built then 10w30 is probably to thin yet i still feel 10w60 is to thick. If you tried 10w40 then I am out of suggestions. This may point to an actual engine issue like rings or turbo seal failure. What about the...

    Startup smoke

I bet you it is the oil you are using. These things are quite finicky when it comes to oil viscosity. I would try using a 5w30 or 5w40 oil just as an experiment. Amsoil or Motul are really the only oils i recommend. I would give that a try before anything. 60 weight oil is way to thick for the...

    Startup smoke

Well you shouldn't really need to adhere to a cool down period with these cars because the turbo is water cooled. That said I still do it anyway. More importantly is the need to properly and sufficiently warm your car. Typically it takes at least 15 minutes before the engine is truly and fully...
