    Newbie to Subie

Welcome! Long time Honda owner here too. Still own an 06 Honda Civic that will be going to my daughter once she gets her license. My wife bought my 15' for me too! Drivetrain and suspension mods are a good place to start before doing any engine mods.

deals much be better in California. I paid ~$1500 under invoice. gotta pull the actual paperwork for the number, but they also paid all the fees as well. of course though I had to pay the tax, uncle sam has to get a cut. check with Heuberger Motors for pricing. they are a vendor on here as...

    What drought?

For now just using the Subaru synthetic 5w30. My next oil change I'll probably go with something else. Not sure what though.

    What drought?

I check my oil weekly and sometimes twice a week depending on how far I travel. I don't think I burn any oil. Oil level stays the same. Also there wasn't any oil in the intercooler just a little bit of residue. I've seen other 15s that will have a pool of oil in the IC with less mileage than...

    What drought?

Nothing special here. Just a fresh wash and good cleaning. My neighbors probably shake their heads every time I wash my cars. Pull the IC off as well to see if I had any oil in there. Just a little bit, nothing to worry about.

2015 STi Intakes - All their no tune required claims

I thought about the tactrix but i figured the AP would be better for me and what I eventually plan to do. but saving money for a rock for your lady or saving money for your car. yeah that's another thread for discussion. lol

2015 STi Intakes - All their no tune required claims

Next mods for me will be the Accessport and an EBCS with a tune. An intake system will come much later unless I get bit by the mod bug. lol

2015 STi Intakes - All their no tune required claims

A buddy of mine has the AEM CAI on his 15'. With a tune it works really well. I can't remember off hand what the hp/torque gains were. Aside from the G35 I used to have, I've always had AEM CAI intakes on all the Civics/Integras I used to run. The quality has always been good and from what...

2015 STi Intakes - All their no tune required claims

Good thread! I was actually just looking at intakes. I'm currently leaning towards the AEM but with a protune with a Cobb AP. I honestly wouldn't trust any intake without a tune. Which one have you considered?

    Ticking sound?

hill assist is always on. kind of annoying but when I get in the car I forget to do the sequence to turn it off. so I just live with it. I know what you mean though. sometimes I'll be at a stoplight where you would think the road is level and the hill assist prevents you from taking off...

    Ticking sound?

After installing the group N trans mount on my 15, going reverse is much easier. Engages instantly, barely lifting the clutch. No ticking on my 15' clutch peddle. Sounds like you just need some WD40. lol
