I'm running Shell T6 right now. I'm due for an oil change anyway need to get the napa filter in after learning about the psi for the bypass valve. With Mobile 1 I had to add a quart and a half in 3000 miles (I thought I had a problem) but with the T6 not one drop was added in 3000 miles
I wanted to hit up the engine gurus here on IGOTASTi before I do something :tard:. Two months ago I ran some injector cleaner though my 2004 with 83000 miles and now I got a tic that is driving me crazy. Not too sure if it is the injectors or not so on the last oil change (about a month ago) I...
Have you checked the boost control solenoid (this is what regulates your boost if its bad you will only get wastegate pressure which is 9psi) ? checked all lines connected to the BCS and turbo? I would also check the wastegate actuator (Im not really sure how to test this one) to make sure it is...
I side with Batmobile your engine is built around the turbo so cheap turbo, cheap build, dead engine which is not cheap. You might be able to get the stocker rebuilt for 400 just need to look around for a decent shop that knows their shit. Take some more time and save some more money, you...
+1 for Holy. Just had mind done by him and it is night and day from the OTS map I was using. Another +1 for it being free for paying members ($65 for a real world tune + membership compared to a $500 shop tune that may or may not be street friendly) and another +1 for holy having OCD and...
Just an idea I used with my Mustang. I got some large cats for cheap cut and chopped and welded the cat bodies straight to the pipe to make it look like cats. Only downside is you need to weld really good to pull it off. Try to find a pulled catted down pipe you can borrow just to get it...
The best!!! If you ever wonder why someone tells you to get oil filter X over oil filter Y take a look at this info and you will be eyes wide open. Thanks for putting this up.
Just wanted to chime in and let everyone know that this How To will work with 04-05 headlights ( I did mine the day after I got my car. I can not stand chrome) and just about any other new car head light I would supect . After I did mine all the honda guys wanted me to change out the color...
Make sure to check the gap!!! The closer you can get it to 0.028 the better your car will like it. When I got my new NGKs they where gaped to 0.035 and that would have caused all kinds of problems.
What about Plastidip? I'm doing some tests right now with out of the can stuff right now. I have painted the front of my car to kinda resemble a EVO10 with the big black void, have blacked out the SUBARU on the back for ease of use test, and pained the license plate area. So far so good it has...
This helped me out. Just did it today, installed a moroso pickup and Im glad I did!!! the stocker was showing signs of stress :( I was quite surprised how flimsy the construction of it was. I lucked out all of my bolts came out no problem and was able to tap on the oil pan with a small mallet...
Don't stress man :) All that should matter is that you know what your car is. Just think back to a time when some ricer pulled up next to you and thought it was as little o WRX. I know you have some stories like that.

Im not saying that all are gapped wrong but one might be 0.030, You never know. I had the same problem when Holy was doing a tune on my car. I took someones word that my spark plugs where good to go but when it came to WOT it would miss fire and stumble all over its self with a miss fire on...
If you have the old plugs it would help the trouble shooting process by reinstalling and see if it relieves the miss fire. Do not trust pre-gapped spark plugs check the gap with feeler gauges (do not use the round wire/wedge type gauges)
Could you give us a little more information on what the...
