A Big Hello from the United Kingdom

Hello Ladies & Gents, I'm Rob 28 years old all the way from across the pond in the Rather wet & miserable United kingdom. I work as a Subaru Diagnostic Technician for a Subaru dealership over here so my job doubles up as my hobby to which I think is pretty Fantastic. I'm also an engine & transmission builder here too along with fitting upgrades etc etc.

My car..
I Own a 2008 STI in Pure White FTW!! I've owned the car since new & has undergone some changes in it's life so far with lots more to come from her yet in the next step. Like many 2.5's it blew a piston on cylinder 2 very shortly into it's life and warranty over here rejected my claim and wouldn't assist in any way which suck's. so lucky enough I already had a fully built motor I'd done sat ready to put in my car so it wasn't off the road to long.

I have plenty of pictures of my car and whats gone on with her so I'll post a few up if that's ok.

I found the forum from your Facebook page which I happened to spot a posted picture a friend of mine had commented on.

Basically the motor I built is using a genuine hardened coated crank from subaru,
Manley H beam connecting Rods with arp 2000 studs.
Acl Race series bearings,
Mahle Motorsport 2016 forged Pistons,
Arp 11mm Headstud conversion,
Cosworth Multilayer steel headgaskets,
Modified 12mm oil pump,
Cosworth sump Baffle.

Was never really built for big power just more to get around the dreaded ringland failure.
I actually have another build in progress to run around the 700bhp marker on pump fuel, but thats going to be a while off behind finished.
