The only reason most people upgrade to an intake with the 08 and up is mostly because there are baffles inside the stock air box that prevent people from hearing the turbo makes the classic spool noise, that's probably the biggest reason why people upgrade is noise.

With the newer ones, doing a silencer sleet will not gain you sound like it will with the older GD models

To be honest I don't agree with this entire thread. Is this how we want to portray our selves, as the iron fist that takes down well respected companies. Companies that have proven them selves worthy in motor sports for many years and by more platforms that your tiny minds can comprehend!

I'm not saying their claims are true but if any company has the right to claim this, it is AEM IMO. They are one of the few that actually do research and testing before they release product to the market.

Do I want to see empirical data to the effect of 32 hp? Yes I do. Will I beat AEM to the ground to get it? No.

This makes us look as bad as it makes AEM look.

We need a guinea pig to get the AEM Product and hop on a dyno to find out for sure with a before and after. But without a tune makes me cringe.

I know I'm getting a 2015 soon but uh yah lol. I'm scared lol I'd request the expert tuners here to make sure it works lol.
But then I would need a base fine tune then a retune for the AEM to keep the power gains fair And a dyno place to hook it up for the sake of research aha.
