I have no idea... It's making horrible noises inside the motor and it only runs on two cylinders.
Wow...... I might say you're in trouble..... Still just a guess though.....

Okay Ive got to ask... I hear alot of stories of the EJ25's blowing is this a common problem in EJ20's too? And sorry to hear that Holy.
I think Holy is finally done.
Forget the Silvia, grab a red s2k!
I'm putting it up on craigslist as we speak... I'm cutting my losses and walking away. I won't leave the community though. I will still remain a fully active member because I'm still in the tuning game.
Looks like we are all in the same boat. The ship is sinking, lol.
Wow, quite the optimists are we? So whats the deal with these motors, at what power level does decent reliability just evaporate?
George is the most optimistic person I know... this is his 4th though... So seeing this happen is a major bummer and sad. One of the greatest has fallen in his battle against the EJ's inferior design. I most other people (myself included) wouldn't have had the balls to do more than 2 engine builds and would have bailed a long time ago.
George has my greatest respect.
Thank you guys... Well I'm certainly not going anywhere, this much is true. I'm just taking a year off from owning an STI and my future plans probably include another at some point... I have just to much passion for them I can't give up... just not with the current car though.
Right now I'm driving around in a 2000 something Honda Civic.:tard:
Hey... It gets me from point a to point be right?... but who's gonna take tuning advice from a guy that blew five motors in two years and drives an old beat up Honda
Hey I was in this for the experimentation and I knew what I was getting into... I consider it acceptable losses for the sake of education and ultimately the community but now it is time to retire the experiment and focus now on first getting my self out of debt then on building a proper car with the knowledge I have gained.
