Hey guys i just wanted to introduce myslef, My name si Diego, Im from Guatemala
19 yo, i have been in love with subarus since my dad got his GC8 1997, more or less 7 years ago, amazing car, lovely, fast u know those feelings

i just got my new bby, after working hard for a couple of years
i imported a Subaru Impreza WRX STI GC8 2000 From Japan, JDM, im just so in love with him and ill be start tuning him from now till the rest of my life haha

i will start racing in the national Autocross in my country, any suggestions from the turbo timer to how to treat him good will be more than welcome

ill show you some photos i will also love to hear advices or recomendations from you guys
i love to learn and really open to hear a lot of suggestions

The biggest advice I can give is keep up with your oil and check the level often. Use a good quality synthetic oil such as AMSoil or Redline. Don't use mobile one.

Change your plugs to one step colder and gap to .028 inches.

Change you air filter and replace with a K&N drop in filter.

Also do a compression test. This will let you know what the state of the motor is now and you will have a base to compare to later.

I also recommend a boost leak test.

thank toy u knoy right now i just change the oil, the filter its on its way! i was thinking in a radiator also aand it dies have a leak.. when it just vame it had 1.2 bar it is like 18.2 psi.. and ow it is dealing with 0.2 bar it is like 10 psi ill be changing brake pads, and rotors i just change the brake fluid for a racing motul high temp

Try resetting the ECU and see what your boost is after.

10 PSI sounds like it is running waste gate only pressure.
