Launching+clutch = ouch?

Hey Guys,

I did the Perrin Stage 2 a few months ago and after a couple days of breaking in the exhaust went hooning for fun. I did a launch on a backroad (safely of course) I released like normal but for some reason when I let out the CAI went absolutely crazy sporadically sucking in and making its typical noise and it felt like the clutch was locked in at 1/4 depressed which ended up burning the clutch a bit. I got used to launching on the stock STI and I wasnt too rough with it. Any ideas? I only tried to launch one more time afterwards and it didnt burn it too bad but still felt weird.

Oh sorry, Exact mods: TurboBack exhaust, so perrin 3" downpipe, cat back exhaust 3", CAI, and custom tune from Perrin

No, my good friend who is a mechanic did it. I havent had problem with it at all. We did it all on a lift and he has been a mechanic for 30 years

does it help that my clutch makes a ticking noise when depressed?

its not too bad its a every 30 seconds it makes a tick and then another tick. the clutch has 6,000 miles on it there is no way the clutch was destroyed in 6,000 miles.

Im taking it to the dealer, friend that did the work said it could be a bearing.
