Tell us more about your motor build. What turbo? Must be impressive if your goal is over 500hp. Can't wait to see it when it is tuned!

This happened last week. Car is ruined. I came out of the house to the engine bay on fire lol

Any ideas how this happened?! I just got the car back from its final tune the week before!

So annoying!

WTF?!

Was that after a drive where everything was warm?

Arson from a jealous/punk neighbor?

Damn I saw this on FB today my sincere apologies on your lost.

Please keep us updated on what happened.

Did you do the fuel system upgrades before the tune maybe it was a fuel leak from the rails or injectors that's if the motor was hot of course.

Hooooly shit. That's terrible. I'm very interested to see what the cause was, if you are able to determine that. I have a feeling it is due to something faulty in the wiring/battery and that fire likely spread to your fuel lines.

Thanks guys no idea what caused it. It was running perfect and was sitting 30 minutes before I came out to the fire. Will see what the assessor and mechanic says this week.

Looks bad but could be worse. At least it looks fixable.

Guess I am just an optimist. My guess to repair that would be about 10k ish

I'd imagine thats fixable as well. I mean all the rubber hoses are still ok, and the plastic reservoirs intact. Not that they're the important bits, but those parts being ok makes me think that the fire wasn't that hot or burn for that long.
