My first STI

Hi All,

I bought my first STI a couple of weeks ago and would like to introduce my car shortly.
Model: 2006 Impreza WRX STI (EJ25)
Colour: Crista;/Champagne silver
Rims: Stock Gold STI Rims
Turbo: Stock VF43
Engine: Rebuilt with Manley Forge Pistons
Suspension: Coilover
Exhaust: 3" Turbo back with HKS Silent Hi-Power Muffler
Dumpvalve: GFB but running stock at the moment
ECU: Stock with a safely tuned map
TGV delete has been done

I didn't realize you weren't from the USA! Where in the world are you located? It's interesting that Subaru used the USDM's limited rims as base rims over there! I'm going to assume that you're somewhere either in Europe or Australia since you had side markers. Does this mean that you also have a rear fog light? (Yes, I see it! )

The first and most important issue which needs attention immediately is the abs issue.

The only other real issue is cosmetic, the paint, the car has some tree glue stains mostly on the roof and rear of the car, it's difficult to show on a picture.
We tried getting it out wit some clay bar treatment and a good polish however we were unsuccessful in that. We did however het the paint smoothed out.
There are also some parking dents and what looks to be slight hale damage on the bonnet/hood of the car. I intend to get the dents professionally removed and then the bumper and front covers need to be matched to the cars colour. The front bumper has been replaced due to the first owner installing a front mount I/C and it being removed.
So the bumper needs a respray but i'm still indecisive about painting the entire car because there is so much that can go wrong when respraying.

As the car is now it still has its original factory paint job with the exception of the front bumper.

Inside the car is very clean. I only want to purchase a new set of STI mats because they have been used a fair bit on the driver side. And then i have opened and cleaned the driver control unit but it remains a bit sticky on the auto open/close cycle. I even adjusted the little springs inside, made it better but not perfect. Will probably replace the unit when ever i get the opportunity.
