my "from scratch" STi build.

well i purchased an 06 STi bare chassis that was previously parted out to nothing for a MORE than reasonable price, with the idea of building myself a 100% custom to my liking STi... so here it goes

The day i bought it!

than after about a month, i got all my Panels on, and it basically rolling... (thanks to 03 totalled wrx donor)

FULL 06 front end conversion " i dont really like the hawkeye too much"

well im going full Version 7 drive train... v7 spec C motor, than eventually mating it up with the full trans back non DCCD 6 speed... looking to get a modded VF39 twin scroll, all the bolt ons, and looking to tune it at around 450AWHP... looking to build a very clean all around car, speed, handleing, drivability.

interior, im doing 2010 STi seats, with black carpet, and black suede door inserts.

under the hood (looks wise ) as much wrinkle red as possible

If you're looking for something twin scroll and 450whp...I know someone who has a setup that pretty much does that with a great powerband....ME lol Check out my journal, though I don't have a spec c motor, just built longblock. 300wtq @ 3300 and 415ish whp @ 4k on 93oct. 450whp @ 4k on ms109 fuel. This is with an HTA 3076 though. I've never seen a twin scroll vf39 but I would put money it wouldn't hit 450whp.

well the twin scroll (correction it is a VF37) is what came in the version 8 JDM motors. there are a few companies that will take it and upgrade it for a few hundred bucks... i went for a ride in a USDM wrx with this turbo and it was amazing! so i figure with the write motor, tune, and supporting mods, ( 10 grand, if needed overnight parts from japan) LMAO it will be pretty crazy

well im using an 03 OEM trans and all with the spec C motor first, just because its all already there, all i needed was the trans... so when that goes, than ill throw a spec C trans in to match... save 3k for now

i havnt seen any complete swaps around with brembos and all for a while... to build the car i had an 03 wrx donor car, so i figure ill just throw that in for now.

This project must be fun as hell. I have always wanted to do a "kit car" which is similar to this except you are piecing the kit and putting it together. I look forward to the progress.

wondering if your going to use WRX suspension and brakes? I dont see any brembos.... looks good so far !
