Sup guys just joined. My first Subaru and first standard. It's a 2004 STi. Fairly simple mods just a cai and a cat back exhaust. I also have nitrous that's hooked up but not filled so more of a show thing. Got it for free from my friend lol. I'll post pics up of my car when I get near a computer lol.

As promised how she stands now probably gonna go lower in the spring and add a lip. Working on performance now.

Dyno done at EFI logcs in Bethel CT. Car pulled 252whp 249ftlbs. Not too bad for a fairly stock car.

I have a cai, and a catback exhaust right now. Im upgrading the exhaust to invidia since its already leaking. But Im planning on doing a 16g turbo, injectors, and a few visual things.

IMO the 16G is a waste of money for the purpose of an upgrade. It is no better than the stock snail. Go with at least a 18G or even better, a 20Gxt. You will not be sorry and the spool can be made similar to stock.

Check out BadSTI's journal when you get a chance. That'll give you an idea.

Nice I'll check his build after work. My buddy is running a 16g on his gcrs and putting down some good numbers. But then again it's s completely different motor. Definitely something I need to do more research on. I'm also debating on doing a fmic.

Keep the TMIC when running smaller turbos, no need to go FMIC IMO. Also, 20g FTMFW.

Welcome to the forum. What kind of engine management are you running?

Nothing right now, I just got the car in august and being in school is limiting my mods lol. Any recommendations? Im looking into a accessport in the spring before I get my car tuned.

Well your second picture is on the dyno. Was this done while you had the car? I would imagine you are being tuned here which is why I didn't ask the question. This could also just be a base line. I would find out for sure before you decide on engine management.

Good to have you on the team. I would grab an Ap before anything else. It will be your best purchase for the car. Let me know if I can help, I've never been beaten on an AccessPort sale.

I was just getting a baseline reading. They said its ok to run it untuned for a couple months. Im just having trouble gathering founds being a college student with no hours due to retail sucks in the winter lol.
