Welcome to the forum! I personally think it's sweet that you have both EVO and STi. After all those years with the EVO, what made you decide to get an STi as well?

Thank you. I had an 04 WRX before my EVO. I actually traded the WRX for the EVO because it was a trade in at the dealer. I got it for cost plus 300 for paperwork. I couldnt turn down the deal since it was a straight trade and I couldnt afford an STi or used EVO since they were going for 25-30K at the time. I got it for 15,500. (In 2006). I bought by WRX for 16,000 so I broke even.

I found a deal on this STi and couldnt resist since I always wanted one and my EVO is no longer a daily driver. It hasnt seen rain or snow in 5 years.

I think in another year or so when the new STi comes out with direct injection, I will trade in the STi for a new one.

Nope. I was on Haggerty at 5pm though.

Well that explains why even though I had my entire left arm out the window waving, the driver just looked at me
like "who the hell are you?". :lol: I think it might have been the other blue STi that was parked next to you (in your
pics) in the Yazaki parking lot. JJ is sending me a ton of referral cards. I think you will get some in your Platinum package,
but if not, I can hook you up.

Ah... Very nice! So...I've always been under the impression that the EVO is the better track car, and the STi is the better off-road/daily driver. Would you agree with that?

I agree. The EVO is set up for track instead of rally. The STi is a rally car all around. I do like the STi as a daily. The only downfall to the EVO 8/9 as a daily is no cruise control so road trips suck.

Hmmmm. Am i really the only one who doesnt use cruise control?? Ive used it ONCE since i got my car 4 years ago... :lol:

I have never used cruise control on my STi. I am never doing under 80mph on the highway. Escort Smart Radar saved my ass more than once

I loved my radar when I had it. Somehow lost the power cable when moving and building the car at the same time.

On a side note, made a garage with the EVO, next is the STi once I get some things done to it, clean it and take some pics.
