Previous STI owner here, sold the 06 SGM STI a few years ago, missed the hell out of it, so ended up with a 2013 SWP STI Limited... Few pics of the old and the new.

Love my STi, have some light mods to it, but nothing too in depth... Yet.

The 2013 is a GR. I like the GR much better, its a much more comfortable car for a daily driver, its roomier inside, and more practical with the full fold down back seat, however there are things I miss about the GD. The biggest thing I miss is the frameless doors and the tall hood scoop, I loved the drivers view with the tall hood scoop. I also miss the lower gearing on the 06, it feels faster than the 2013 did, stock to stock anyways. The 2013 is Stage 1 now, which makes a substantial difference though.

I stand corrected, hadn't realized the sedan had a different chassis code.

Overall the 2013 is a nicer car, but yeah I miss the frameless doors.

Tell me how the seats feel in comparison to the GD! :tup:

The seats are identical aside from the leather (Limited) and heaters, which are both nice. I wouldn't have paid additional for the Limited package for just the leather, the sunroof is worth the additional to me though.

Yeah it does feel heavier, but again remember the Limited is heavier because of the sunroof.
