For those who saw my thread about my car crash before the servers lost it, I have a couple pics of the front end damage on my car
Poor baby
When I finally got a chance to peak underneath since i had to change the wheel to the spare so I can move it inside my garage, I checked the control arm since obviously something was wrong with it. I was expecting it to be bent....it wasnt. It was snapped in pieces.
Blah! This is gonna be a while till shes on the streets again since i have almost no time to work on her during the week.
-EDIT#1-
Adding some pics. I forget to take pics of stuff as im going along with tearing apart my car. But I'll be posting what I have for the times I remember.
-My replacement APS 525 FMIC Kit showed up in this box. Lol.
-Front/higher view of damage. Driver fender already removed.
-Second shot of the front, lower angle
-My replacement APS kit in the background, piping on some shelves and the box on the floor in the back with my damaged fender
-APS FMIC Core removed as well as damaged headlight
-Passenger headlight removed.
-APS Coolant overflow resevoir removed [almost no damage, just one small ding. just gonna sell the piece]
-Dont remember why I took this pic but im throwing it in here too
-Removed Radiator, fans,& AC Condensor. Radiator was fine, condensor was slightly twisted but no visible damage aside from that.
-Another pic.
-Look at the frame
-Now some of you are not going to like this. But I decided to remove my AC. I never use it, and would rather just sell it to someone who wants it.
A little extra cash never hurts. And NO, im NOT doing it for weight loss or MOAR HORSEPOWA! lol.
-With the AC pump gone, I was thinking...maybe I should put a AOS or catchcan in that empty spot?
-Better view of frame now that AC condensor and radiator are out of the way.
-random pic
-Most of the AC to be sold. Gonna have to get the rest when I have time.
-Getting ready to take off the donut to take a closer look at the control arm that I suspected to be bent, but turned out was broken.
-Look at the swaybar and control arm...
-Closer view of swaybar endlink
-Closer view of control arm.
-Side view of control arm
-Started with the back end also. Taking off the factory sti body and gonna put a wings body kit on.
Rear taillights removed
-Rear bumper removed
