Plasti dip the wheels

I would say its pretty durable. Ive had my black dip on my stockers for almost a year and still holding up as day one. The key to getting it perfect is with thick coats so the peel off can be as pain free as possible. At $8 or whatever it is a can you cant beat it.

After a year, I'd be curious it you tried to remove and re-apply. I wonder if heat-cylcing it causes it to change or penetrate the wheel's finish. Basically, Im wondering if it'll stay removable without damaging the wheel.

Ill peel them off either today or tomorrow and do them pink since that was supposed to be done a while ago. Ill keep you guys updated.

My thing is i am eventually going to buy new wheels for these do not fit the tire size and fitment i want. But i dont know if i should spend a ton of money on powder coating, to go buy new wheels in a few months anyway. So if i can use this as a short term thing that still looks good untill then...it may be worth the $50 ya know. lol. What does everyone think of white OZ Ultraleggarras on a black micha pearl 06??

I love white wheels. And i think the brake dust doesnt stick to plasti-dip, so they might *stay* white!

Better believe brake dust gets on plastidip. I kept the black stockers unwashed for a month and you can definitely tell the brake dust was collecting on there. Maybe with a gloss finish or something over it it wouldnt stick. I have just black and nothing over it. When you go to feel the plastidip it has a sense of being grippy and tries to get emotionally attached to your fingers.

sonax? Im yet to find something that lifts brake dust off of the neon colors. never heard of sonax tho

The pearl white looks awesome! I did like 3 coats of white and 3 of pearl with about 2 coats glossifier. made my garbage look great! haha I would like to try it on my wheels at some point too

Sonax is the shit for cleaning wheels. Detailer's domain (a vendor on here) sells it and has a sale going right now.

I was skeptical so i bought one bottle, but then went in for the 6-pack. Next time i might get the gallon jug!

if your wheels are black...I would think you need the most cans in white...then maybe 2 pearlizers and one or 2 glossifiers. Since your wheels are black, I would do one can of color per wheel. You might get away with 3 cans of white for all 4 wheels but thicker is better and white over black is the hardest combo. use 4 cans of white... 2 pearl/1 gloss. The gloss is just a protectant. But the pearl is really just a glossifier with pearl in it...it is not opaque at all and comes out clear just like the metalizers/glossifier. You may not want to do gloss though. It does change the color, hue and general look of any color. I like to use it on dark colors but It does jive well with pearl white from my experience.
