Hey Everyone,
I wanted to start my journal so I can share my experiences as a first time Subie owner. The mod game has been interesting and I feel I am about 75% done. Why? Because the last project will probably be going from my current 20G-xt to a Dom 3 XTR and some further supporting mods. And anything over and above is getting me further south from my next project; 2013 GTR.
My previous vehicles include a Supercharged 2008 Honda S2k, 2008 Duramax, 2007 Denali, 2005 Denali Pickup, 2003 H2 Hummer, 2002 Nisaan Maxima SE 6sp, 2002 Harley-Davidson F-150, and an 81 Porsche 924 Turbo.Ive had a few beaters along the way- 73 Volvo 144 and an 84 NIssan Sentra.
I'm all over the board with my vehicles but I have always taken an interest to Imports. I was on a list to purchase a 2010 Shelby GT500 but opted out and went for an STI. I figured I could buy a Special Edition for 20k less and use the difference towards mods. I've always admired the WRX/STI platforms since their inception. When the GR was introduced, I knew it was a matter of time! I just like the hatch/wagon function and form.
So, I will try and make edits to organize my thoughts during my ownership of the STI. but here goes:
