No he just said it's not worth tuning without one and I did ask all of the tuners today if that ebcs would do anything for my car and they all said no. I didn't question them above skill level. I'm going with allpro Subaru and they said the mbc would be fine but insisted I buy a grimmspeed ebcs.

Yup, it says on their page you can browse maps already made and the software all it will let me do is mess with my current map, has no extra base maps.

What year is your car?

If i'm reading you correctly you won't find any maps with AccessTuner Race itself... You have to download the ones you want from there website or the AccessPort itself should have come with a full compliment of maps for your car... You can transfer them to your computer using AccessPort Manager and then open them and modify them with AccessTuner.

I was just searching around their site and could only come up with WRX maps for cars earlier than 2004.

Here is the link I use to find the maps. http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?ID=3061 Just click on the model and year of your car and it should bring you to a list of maps... I'm not really sure what they have for you car though. I not to familiar with anything earlier than 04.

Make sure you are using the latest version of AccessPort Manager. I think it is version 2.0.1.5 or later. Connect your AccessPort to your computer first and let it install the drivers if it hasn't already. Then open up AccessPort Manager and toward the top you should see a drop down menu to filter the content. You want to select "Maps" if there are maps that cam with your AccessPort, they will show in the window.

To transfer them to your computer you select "Search Maps" at the left and it will split the screen. You can browse the location where you want the files to be at the top of the left screen and then transfer the maps to your computer by selecting the map and clicking the icon shaped like a computer with an arrow.

After looking at your mods list and the base mods they have on the website..... Yeah you're gonna need a pro-tune dude. Running the any of the Cobb 16g stage 3 maps at full boost is just asking for trouble. If you do want to do some reading and make your brain hurt then trying hitting up
here: http://www.romraider.com/Documentation/TuningFAQ

I
have found a lot of very good resources on RR also George is a beast when it comes to AP tuning :D.

You would have to confirm this for me with the 02-03 but I recommend checking the the monitor for DAM (Dynamic Advance Multiplier) while the AccessPort is hooked up. If that number falls below a set point (10 I think for the 02-03) it will shut down Turbo Dynamics and force you to run waste gate pressure only. This would indicate a significant problem

If that is not it then you could try resetting the ECU and see if it come back. Again this would indicate an issue because the ECU is shutting down turbo dynamics for some reason.

After that it could be the solenoid it self or a broken hose or wire.

Beyond that if you need any help tweaking your set up in AccessTuner we can certainly do that but this could take quite a bit of time to get right over the Internet. But it is doable. It looks like you are speaking with a tuner so that would be the best course of action right now IMO.

Hey George, right now he has no boost control devise. From what he was saying he just has a vacuum hose going from waste gate nipple to turbo nipple....

Alright so here are pictures of the actuator, y-pipe to turbo, boost solenoid and inlet. Maybe you can use these to help me out.
