Ferraris are cool but even if I had the money I just don't think so. The maintenance and cost of is mind boggling.
I read an article from a guy that decided to find out what the true cost of ownership for a Ferrari was. From 1999 to 2006, he drove a 355 (I think???) at or near daily status and logged every expense. At the end he had spent about 67k on maintenance. I don't believe that included fuel or things like insurance, just pure maintenance and upkeep.

Depends on which Ferrari. There are multiple options under 100k which puts them in the range of people that can afford nice things but still need to be money conscious.

Used, ok, maybe. But i agree. There are people who own Ferrari, who stretched to get there, and cant afford the TENS of thousands of dollars in maintenance that they weren't expecting.

There are older ferraris going for less than 50k. Depends on what model and what year. A lot of 80s models that are still nice arent that expensive - if thats your taste. Same goes with lamborghinis.
