STILYE 11 Sedan's (New to now)
Hi all,
First I just want to say that I am really enjoying this website. I have been looking for a good place to hang out with other enthusiasts and have good convo without all of the crappy comments and personal issues associated with other non mentioned websites
So I will get to it. I picked up my STI in Mar of 2011 with 3 miles on her. Out the door for 32,600.
Stock:
I had actually planned on keeping it stock for a while as I had a ton of time and money sunk into my Evo IX. But as we all know any car guy cannot seem to keep to himself out of trouble for long. So I decided to start the mod process. The first thing i decided to do was tint the car, so a nice 25% tint all around went on.
Next the hella's went on as well as a front plate delete.
Then I decided I needed decent suspension setup.
BC Racing BR coil overs and Agency Power double adjustable control arms:
Next I decided I needed some exhaust so I went down to Nameless Performance in Oregon and picked up an axel back system. (I am still waiting to pick the rest of the exhaust up)
After that I knew I should start a little engine stuff ( my goal was just a simple stage 2 for the beginning)
So then I picked up a COBB AP and a COBB SF intake. I also decided to add a synapse BOV for added flavor. I also decided that all the junk needed to come off of the trunk. (de-badged)
I apparently wasn't happy there because I turned to wheels next, after careful consideration I decided to go with a set of Varrstoen 18x10.5 ET30 in a custom transparent blue powder coat.
I was going to go with TE37 SL's but if anyone else is like me I decided that 3500.00 for wheels was a tad excessive (unless you are a racer) I just figured being low and the crappy roads in WA state, if I were to curb one I would probably cry...or at least feel like it.
I thought about tires as well but since the car only had less than 4K miles on it I decided that I would just keep my stock tires and just stretch them a hair!!
245/40/18 on a 18x10.5 +30:
So this all happen to come together right before the Import Face Off car show. I decided since it was the first 11 sedan that I could find with this wide of a setup that I wanted to get a little attention and hopefully get some pics out there, so I entered it into the show. Well someone must have liked it because I took home a trophy for best stance!!
Here are just a couple more pics I ran across that I really like:
Well that's it so far, but please stay tuned as there will be some new goodies added within the next month. (side skirts, rear lips, front lip, titanium shift knob, R205 badges)
I will leave the future mods out for now as I do have some pretty decent plans for her coming fairly soon
