I feel like a :tard: for selling my HU. I want a new one now that my daily commute is not via bicycle. Any one want to buy a cobb rear sway for $350.00?

I'll run it past my local car stereo expert steve. Aka frankensubie on nasioc.

I spent months researching as usual. I didnt just take that guys idea and run with it. There is no sub that can perform in an enclosure that small. I usually build my own enclosures but couldnt find the Trupan I want to use. I was lucky as hell that the SAME company that sells the sub also makes custom enclosures and can get Trupan.

The amp I'm going with is the Kenwood KAC 6104D. It weighs only 4 lbs and is more than powerful enough for the subs power range.

I am confident that there is no better underseat setup for less than $500.

Yeah, I'm trying to make a setup for the complete system that needs to interface with the car pc properly, so my case is a little special.

A headunit with AUX inputs mounted under the seat should do.

I want a car PC but will probably take the easy way out and get one of these for my netbook:

Ordered the muffler for my EWG today.

So now the project list for the STI consists of:
-EWG muffler
-install ALK
-install sub, amp, and speakers (60 day wait on the sub and enclosure)
-get PDR on 2 dents when the weather gets warmer
-replace E-brake boot
-get arm rest cover custom upholstered
-find and fix fuel leak
-install lightweight bumper
-install rear diff bushings
-install tranny cross memeber bushings
-switch out lug nuts and send set back to McGard for replacement
-get and install camber plates
-rotate tires
-new alignment

...Fuck.... I'm wanting to have all of this done by the end of April. With work, school, and me no longer living where my garage and tools are this is going to be a challenge.

I wouldn't want to see your hard work go up in flames. That task would be on the top of my list :D

Hey man my garage is open for business any time (that I am there). You can have my spot if the car needs to be down for a few days.

What class will you be in with these new mods? SM?

You're awesome man! Thanks a bunch. I can still use my dad's garage but its filled with shit from he and his new wife moving back in and will be a while before theres a decent amount of room to work in.

If you and I can get this ALK done some time this month (or early next) that would be awesome.

I'll be in SM... But I'm thinking about running the street tire PAX just so I can own you like I did last year.

Most of y'all remember my 2 week build last December where I did 20 installs with the flu, almost blew myself up, and nearly lost a finger.... Well here comes the build part 1.5. :D

I'm off next week so decided to install the parts I have lying around from my impulse buying. It shouldnt be near as demanding as the intake manifold, fuel system, turbo, headers, ect.

Here's the plan:

Day 1 (2-27): Head over to Paul's garage to install my white line alk. When the ALK is done and Paul thinks the day is over I'll trick him by presenting tranny crossmember, rear diff mount, and subframe outrigger bushings. :D

Day 2 (2-28): Uninstall ebrake boot, shift boot, and center consol cover to send to JPM coachwerks. Figure out a way to install the supertrap muffler I bought on my dump tube. This will probably end up with much confusion and me going to a muffler shop for some welding... The end result being something that doesnt fit.

Day 3 (3-1): Come up with a solution for the mess caused by day 1.

Day 4 (3-2): Remove door panels and install speaker spacers and speakers.

Day 5 (3-3): Install JDM front bumper

I'm sure there's more I'll need to add.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, I didn't approve anything but an ALK. But it's cool. Lendsay is making a kick ass dinner. I hope you like authentic Italian.

Status update:
-ALK installed
-transmission crossmember bushings installed
-rear diff mount bushings installed
-rear subframe outrigger bushings installed
-fuel leak fixed (again)
-dump tube muffler installed

The car feels so much better after the ALK. The added caster really made a difference and can be felt when simply cruising and staying in a lane. The car feels much more planted and controllable at speed. (this is all without a realignment).

There is now gear wine at ALL RPM thanks to the transmission bushings.... I love it! :D
