My first coyote!!!!!
I shot that coyote at 14 yards with my Ruger Mini-14. It was moving through a lot of brush and in between trees,
so I didn't have a clear shot until then. The wind was in my favor, which I'm sure made a huge difference, but
thankfully the spot I chose was hidden enough that it didn't see me. They see EVERYTHING, so I felt pretty lucky.
I weighed it before going taking it to the taxidermist. It was 31 lbs.
This is how I hope it turns out...

Anyone curious to see what a .223 Remington does to the head of a squirrel or should I not post those pictures? 
Bullet entry hole is almost impossible to see. Below and to the right of the eye.
Aaaannnd of course that's the exit hole.
That was a 55 gr FMJ. Imagine a soft point or other expanding round. I hit a squirrel in the dome one time with a .22 Hornet, soft point and it exploded the entire head.
Insta-death.
15-20ish.
14 yards. Damn thing ran up on me fast. It had no idea I was there. I told you I am stealthy. :lol:
