You give a poor man a fish and you feed him for a day. You teach him to fish and you give him an occupation that will feed him for a lifetime

I can make a write up of the recipe it's a basic lemon basil cream sauce that can be altered easily by adding jalapenos or Capers or what ever your brain comes up with.

It's one of my favorite sauces you can use on pan fried pork, chicken, veal, fish and pastas.

Oh for crying out loud, make it yourself from scratch ya bum!!!!! It's better that way!!!!!

I just made this one sauce and it was damn good. Olive oil with shallots, garlic, crushed red pepper, Italian seasonings and a can of anchovies fillets sauted till the anchovies fall apart then you add white wine and reduce then add a can of diced tomatoes. Reduced down again and add the clams take note the clams in the shell were just for photo purpose there was allot more already removed from the shell.

To make the basic cream sauce is you saute garlic, shallot and lemon zest in olive oil. Add some basil next and juice of a lemon. Saute a bit longer then add cream and reduce down while constantly stirring it so it doesn't curdle.

You can add capers, jalapeno, or Serrano Chile's, to the first saute portion before the lemon juice.

You can also add parmesan cheese at the end to turn it in to an Alfredo style.

End of the year harvest and tear down.

Quite the haul for October 25th! The bag almost split open before I could get it i side.

Heirloom tomatoes
Green Bell peppers
Ghost peppers
Jalapeno peppers
Thai peppers

Definitely going to have a drying/crushing party this weekend. That's the only way I can preserve all the hot stuff before it goes bad.

Batmobile_Engaged have you ever considered doing a green house?

I plan on doing a dug out green house which is dug in the ground to use the earth to thermal regulate in winter and summer. Essentially it's a hole dug in the ground that you then make a shorter green house walls and roof above the hole allowing a low profile green house.

I'd line the below ground inner walls with cinder block then make another shorter inner perimeter wall around three of the walls that you can convert in to fish holding tanks for aquaponics. You'd have three walls of aquaponics and still have room in the middle for a few raised beds or you can plant directly in ground with out the raised beds (which can be good for fruit trees).

Pretty much it's a low pro green house for peppers or discrete growers that don't want the whole neighborhood seeing that you have a green house.

It's funny you mention that, Doppelganger. My girlfriend was just talking about making German Pancakes this weekend and the picture she showed me looks just like yours.
