So I injured my back yesterday and it won't stop having spasms, which really fucking hurt. My employer sent me to their doctor who agreed that I tore some muscles in my back, but refused to prescribe muscle relaxers to stop the spasms because he hadn't decided if I was a pill popper yet. I told him that he just did a piss test on me and I wasn't looking for pain pills because I can take the pain as long as I know it ends, i.e. muscle relaxers.

What a jerk. Until you're cleared for the muscle relaxers get on a heating pad and try to find some vervain or kava root. You can boil either one of these to make a tea (tastes icky though) but I've seen kava root ground up into a pill form.

Im pretty much living in my bath tub/shower(depends how bad the pain is) full of HOT water.
