I tap the circled plus sign icon on the left. Then I use the paperclip attachment icon at the bottom. A window pops up asking where to pull an attachment from. I click "gallery" and choose a photo. It works, but often orients the photo sideways or upside-down.

Son of a bitch....It rotated it 90* to the left again. I deleted Tapatalk from my phone, downloaded it again and reinstalled it. Same shit, different day.
