I've often considered fender flares, but I'm afraid it wouldn't look right seeing how I am rolling on 17x8's.

Yeah you need at least 9" or 10" to look good. Biggest size ive seen were 315 on 11.5" rims. Looked meaty as fuck!!!

I often kick myself for buying 17x8's. I should have gone with 17x9's but didn't want to screw with fender rolling. Rolling the fenders is necessary for 9" wide wheels, right?

Also depends on the offset. But yeah i think that was when fender play started becoming necessary. Not my cup of tea at the moment. :lol:

I just wonder how much of a difference the extra inch of rubber on each tire would make in traction. I'm sure most think of traction while launching, but I'm thinking more about cornering and braking.
