Installed this battery cut-off for working on the car. Has a small fuse that allows me to disconnect the battery but supply just enough electricity to power radio and other on board computers saving things like radio stations or the clock.

Thoroughly washed my car today for a car show on monday. Detailed the engine, clay barred it, removed the Sti trunk emblem I had put on and put the stock one back on. Gonna wax it tomorrow and detail the inside.

I dreamed up something nasty today, its not an STI, but it is STI powered. Anyone care to speculate on how we could convert an STI trans to power just the front wheels? I have an idea:tard:

I like the idea of rear wheel drive better: http://www.factoryfive.com/whatsnew/update/nextcar/818introtext.html

I will have this. Oh yes I will!

Well I'll be damned! The day I think of something cool, I find out somebody is already doing it! Paul check this out:

Thats what I was saying, modify the tailshaft housing so that there is no driveshaft output, replace the center diff with something solid, and whala! Budget ZF transaxle, although everything would sit a little higher than in that ^^ picture.

EDIT- can't wait to see how they set up the shift linkage.. Maybe they'll do it sequential like the RCM gobstopper or with a KAPS conversion. Although I don't think that would be very cost effective.
