Research link with a chart on ethanol seasonal blending by state (somewhere in the article)
But always test your fuel at certain times of year to be sure.

Will do, thanks for the pointers. There's supposedly one station here that sells true E-85 year round according to my friend...but I have my doubts. He has been running a E-85 tune for 20k miles with no issues though, can't remember what time of year he got tuned though...I'll chat with him and find out more info and let you all know what I find out on top of my other research.

Thanks Spamby, I was getting ready to ask you what tester to get. I'll go around and test ethanol in the next couple weeks and see what station has the best and report back. Hopefully I'll have good news...

Edit: Just ordered the E-85 tester, should be here next week. Anxious to see what kinda quality fuel I have to choose from up here...

So I may be able to swing a GS TMIC, I may have just found a slightly used one that I think I can afford. I know it's not as good as the ETS/Spearco but it's still an upgrade over stock and it should help me squeeze a few extra ponies until I go rotated. We'll see if the dude responds and still has it. Fingers crossed!

Just paid the guy for the GS unit so I have a shiny (BNIB even) I/C on the way...this write-up sold it for me:

Again, I know it's not as good as the ETS but for half the price I'm willing to give it a shot...now I just need to do more research on E-85 and make sure it's the right thing for me. Hope to get tuned later this month if I get the cash I'm expecting from some rebates I'm getting from home improvement upgrades...

Torque Solutions pitch stop came yesterday..really nice piece. Well made out of billet aluminum, nice bushings...I'm really impressed with the quality, especially for the price! GS TMIC should be delivered today and my Zeitronix ECA kit is coming Friday. Only thing left is my Crawford AOS, still researching prices on that and then I'll get it ordered and I'll have a big install ahead before I get tuned either this month or next.

Here's a couple pics of the I/C and the pitch stop...still waiting to find out when I'm getting tuned so I know when I can install. It's looking like the second week of May right now but it's subject to change. Can't wait to see what difference the intercooler makes and to see what my car will do on E-85!

Yeah, it's a beaut... Very impressed with the quality, GS knows how to build a quality product for sure. Same with TS on the pitch stop, it's a very well made piece. My mom picked up the RCE Yellows from blobeyesti today so I'll have those in the next week or so as well... Soon my car will be a few inches lower and handle a lot better. Definitely doing more to the car than I expected but it's all good, get it done now so I can focus on the family this summer and not the car like last year.. :p

Just picked up some E85 to test from the only station of 3 in my area that actually had any...good news, it's right on E85 and this is the blend they always have. Other good news is they always have it, the other two stations are hit or miss though the one usually has E90 when they do have it. But it's all good, I'm just glad that I found somewhere that regularly has it and it appears to be pretty good quality stuff. Here's a picture of the test:

I'm pretty psyched now, my ECA kit comes today and then all I'm waiting for is my oil pickup and Crawford AOS then the installs can start! Can't wait to see what kind of numbers I make with the new I/C on pump and what they can do on E-85!!!

Have u installed the pitch stop yet?

Have not, waiting to do it all at once. The I/C is going to have to be off to install the AOS and the ECA...and I don't have the AOS yet as it is backordered so I'm waiting on a refund and weighing other options. I'll be sure to post up a review of how it feels once I install it. It looks like I'm going to be doing the majority of the stuff on the 10th as of right now..

I'd suggest the AOS but with your build you'll benefit more for longevity of your motor with the Crawford. I just want to know how it feels (pitch stop) installed n if you could kindly take a video of the engine noise when you start it up before and after with pitch stop. Debating on getting that n a lightweight pulley set.

Yeah I'll do my best to remember to do a quick video in cabin of the startup before and after...it's definitely going to make things rattle more in the dash I know that for sure from riding in a buddies car. That's not a good thing for me because my dash rattles like crazy in the winter so I'm not looking forward to that. But the performance gains will outweigh it and I'll just crank my tunes up louder...no biggie.

Quick note on pitch stops:

I think they are the best bang for your buck as far as stiffening goes. I just recently upgraded to stage 2 ewg on my car, otherwise stock. As we were turning the boost up the stock clutch began to give out. Did my research and got an act hdss installed with lightweight flywheel. This is when weird things began happening...

When I would take off from a complete stop the car would shake violently, like the motor or trans was coming out. It then began making a popping noise right at the firewall below the pedal assembly. Shop recommended that I upgrade engine and trans mounts so I did. Problem still existed so I took it back to them. The stock pitch stop was the culprit. The bushing inside had released. I upgraded mine just with a group n pitch stop and the violent shaking immediately stopped. My clutch now reacts like it should.

I have not noticed any added nvh at idle from installing it. Some on decel but I don't mind trans noise. I would install that thing ASAP! Really transforms the feel of these cars.
