Yea it's pretty nice, just right and not too bright to cause a distraction. Cause they turn on when the parking lights/headlights are on. I'll see that I dust off the good o dslr n take some pics today.

Any concerns with a slight overfill on oil from the dealer?

When you pulled the dipstick was the engine hot or cold? Can't really tell from the pic how far up it goes past the line. How many miles do you have now? Have you pulled your IC yet to see how much oil you have built up?

It's going up past the twist part. Warmed up, level ground. And no, I haven't popped the TMIC yet to check that.
Maybe I got time today to check, oh and I'm around 4100+ miles. Did some driving yesterday to a Zoo with a tram tour around open land.

Nice, weather should still be good in August! I drove around that place once, alot of small shops n food nearby. It does get abit congested rush hour in that area though, considering its really close to Seattle. Though should be like home just like Cali traffic lol.

We were there last year at the end of August. At that time we visited Central Washington University. My wife and I have been considering moving to Seattle.

Oil levels looked about even when cold. And

Got two different style connectors just in case the crimp one doesn't work well. I don't have a soldering tool but a friend does so better to get it now since it was like under 50 cents.

Man, i love the progress, but you dont need to rip out the whole center console and passenger dash for a wideband!? What else was going on there?

Haha, um thinking I'd be tapping something under that whole area but turns out only the cig lighter was the only place to tap. Was looking for stuff under the STi console portion to tap, which doesn't come off unless you undo the center console first. Center console was the easiest part! haha nothing broken or scratched in the process as I've done it before on another STi

edit: actually I did need the STi bezel off, I ran the wires from the gauge between the cracks if you reference the above pic where the plastic is divided in two near the cig lighter.

Other than that I was pretty lost and didn't think to use the cig lighter wires lol. I had no guidance for this part xP

A closer look

Ignore the wire on the passenger side for now, thats the excess slack that I have kept in the cabin with the sensor wire zip tied next to the other o2 sensor. When its ready I can tug on it and plug n play whenever I get the o2 bung welded on. Then cleanly tuck away the left over slack.

So from this older pic awhile ago, you can see the original size holes that were on the plate.

With some minor resizing to fit the adapter screws, drilled it out just abit more as you can see. (Thinking about painting these black along with the screws)
