Well finished tuning last night about 3am lol but all worked good. AFRs was sick, zero to small feedback knock. Was a good night for it. Made really good numbers and consistent. But heres the numbers anyways.

She made 441whp and 384wtq

I know many dont like the virtual dyno but its all I have haha the nearest dyno is 2 days drive away. But I inputting the right air temp, gear, tire and wheel setup, weighed the car before the suspension was done so I added weight for the gas, air suspension and hardwood trunk, did it in 3rd gear on flat road.

So another quick little update;

Noticed last night my driver side low beam light wasnt on so during my days off next week Ill have to take the front bumper off and have a look at the connections. If not might have to order some new low beams.

Also during days off Im going to pick up some more bronze paint and paint the perrin goodies under the hood and paint the v3 faceplate.

Also I forgot the side interior console piece came in so ill replace that.

Also I dont know if I mentioned here or not but Im having trouble keeping my access port mounted. I've tried the sticky tab that comes with the holder, I've tried double sided 3M tape, Windshield glue, and velcro strips. I wanted to avoid screws or self tappers so I was told about a window suction cup mount. So I just ordered one of those which comes with a 11" bendy mount. It was only 15 bucks on ebay so ill give that a try.

Also while talking to Corbin my tuner last night he didnt know I had dual ports for meth injection into my throttle body so he was super pumped to hear that cause he was tuning for one port so he tells me I should hit 450whp with no issues.

I've had bad luck with suction cup mounts. Usually they wobble a lot, which is a problem since i use my phone as a dashcam. I ended up getting this one:

and its been very stable. The one time i tried to remove it, to transfer cars, it was a HUGE bitch. Like, afraid i'd crack the windshield type force. Since then it's fallen off in the sun once or twice...but I think the original application had a bit of mild glue that's no longer with it. Anyways, I'd investigate that one, or something like it, if you dont have luck with your bendy one.

oh yeah, but i wouldn't use it on anything but glass because of the glue.

Forgot to also make a little update;

For subie,
the HT Autos fender flares should be shipping tomorrow they told me.
The wheels should get in Ontario at the end of this month. So the end of this month ill be selling the Rays and prob drive on winter until my new wheels get here then she will be going in town. First off tho ill be wrapping the fender flares if they arent already matte black, Then the car will be going to my buddys garage where we will cut the fenders and mount the new ones as well as mount wheels and adjust the air suspension as needed.
Once thats done then she will be getting wrapped!

Also this weekend im hoping to get my perrin engine goodies, and the fron STi emblem painted and the rad stays painted bronze. Might even paint the bpv black. Also hopefully get the back lifted up this weekend so im not scraping everywhere or getting knock from the struts lol

Ok so update from this past weekend.


So wheels are still saying they will be here around the end of this month or beginning of next.


Fenders are still set to show up this Friday so looking forward to that. Wheels will be coming off soon to sell to new owner.


So this past weekend I didnt much time to do anything but I did manage to do a couple little things. Im also going to wait to raise up the back until we mount the new wheels and what not.


So now for the pics.


First little thing was just replaced the plastic piece on the passenger side centre console.


So to replace this piece its really easy. First remove the too screws in the centre console.

Next pop the hand brake boot up and get access to the screw there

Then there is a screw under your si drive part of the console once its lifted up.

and then finally there is another screw up around the little storage area in front of the shift boot. Then just down in the corner is a push pin.

Very simple stuff.

Next was painting some things under the hood.


So I removed the perrin shroud, ebcs cover, alternator cover and the rad stays as well as the trim around the radio and the access port face plate.


Used some spray 9 to clean them off. Put paint over the perrin name and cut along the edges of the lettering with a utility knife. Set up some cardboard and started to paint.

First coat

About 4 coats after and when they where dried.

and now the rad stays. It didnt even dawn on me that I painted these the same colour lol so Ill be repainting these rad stays black and the logo red

Yea its bored more less lol and just where she is getting wrapped in matte/gloss black and the hella horns and wheel lip are bronze I thought it would be sweet haha

I love the truck! Need some nice tires/wheels and a front bumper now hahah

Got a little update tonight.

First off got my fender flares in. Got the parts out and put on that I painted. Not pleased with it so hopefully soon when I get time im going to repaint them and paint the lettering.

Next my wheels where supposed to be at Tires23 this week but now are delayed yet again until middle of July lol classic HAHA oh well lol

Got my other wheels sold and loners put on. Not much thread on them and they are my buddys so the car will be getting little driving until the new wheels come.

So now for pics.

This is how the access port face plate came out. With the lighting I had in the garage I couldnt see the missed spots :l

Next was the package showed up. In the box below

Fenders out. Lack of stuffing but when its polyurethane I guess you dont really need it haha

The hardware with the flares. Which includes bolt, nuts, washers and 3M tape.

After that I got the Rays off and all cleaned up to bring to the buyer.

Took another pic of the tires love how wide they are and how they came out

and then some pics I forgot to upload when I done the headlights. Love it without the front bumper lol

So the plan from here is to wait for the wheels to come then me and my buddy will mount the wheels and see how much we have to cut off. Touch up the cuts with paint and then shes gets wrapped. From that point ill be driving her pretty easy due to the clutch slipping at around full boost lol crap. But hoping to take it easy for a while and slowly get all the parts for a full long block build, rotated turbo and stiffening. Stiffening is a must cause I find she lifts in the turns under boost. Might have to tighten up the suspension which ill do when we get at the widebody. Also have to finish the truck setup which im hoping to finish the hardwood, get another compressor and then a sub and amp with a nice looking meth tank

Another update:

Just ordered a 10" JL Audio Sub along with Kicker wiring kit and Sound Ordinance Amp.

Also ordered a ProMeth Universal 3 Gal meth tank which has a level sensor and a mount for the pump. So after all thats done the trunk should look right nice

Alright another little update.

Well all the sub, amp stuff is on the way here as well as the meth tank.

Waiting to here word on if my oil cooler got sent out yet lol

The wheels where suppose to land at the facility yesterday so hopefully hear on those today.

The car is at my buddys house where we will start cutting up the fenders. Once the wheels get here and mounted we can adjust the suspension.

I am waiting to here back on the people wrapping it and I do believe im going to go with Matte Grey and Gloss black accents.

We are also going to shave the front license plate to make that flush

Well I got my Amp today and I must say I think this is a beautiful piece. Its a Sound Ordinance M-2250, 500watt.

and then just a look at the hook-ups and what not

So hoping the sub and wiring kit will be here tomorrow or next.

Havent heard back on the wheels yet but hoping they ship to me this week.

Body work starts tonight. Going to attach the fenders and get a good feel for what has to be cut. Then cut what needs to be done. Sand down and paint edges.
