Hey, just looking for some information here. Is there any reason to buy a Perrin Wing Stabilizer over an eBay special?

I guess, I'm wondering if there are any horror stories out there about them flying off, scratching the paint or something like that?

not that i have heard of. i have the Perrin ones on my 07 and havent had any issues. i would say just make sure they come with all the correct mounting hardware or double sided tape like the Perrin ones do and they should be just fine

Honestly, I'd go for the cheaper ones. It's not a critical part, and plastic is plastic for something that wont see any impacts. The finish on the plastic may not be as nice, but they might be from the same factory. If they dont look great, you can get some sandpaper and a rattlecan to make them look perfect.
