I actully hate it and I don't wanna do it anymore but I make good money on a really bad fire season we could do 1000 hours of just over time in 6 months lol and go to awsome places like alaska and other sweet areas that's the only bad ass part about it

Atleast you get overtime. Nothing like salary based government work where you work 70+ hours a week in the states and then go on deployments for a year straight. I'm sure the money isnt all that bad when you factor in overtime. Maybe if we got overtime then they'd have to stop wasting our time.

yea i work for the gov 2 and its sad they cant call us firefighters cuz then they would have 2 pay us way more i mean im happy with the money they give us and i love working my ass of i just want to do somthing diff im getting burned out of it i wanna go into the army and do aviation mechi

I wish I could get overtime. Alot of companies are limiting overtime. I used to be able to get overtime whenever I wanted. Now I never get any.
